The Residental Packages we offer in The Villages

At this time, we only service homes located in The Villages.  We will bid commercial projects throughout Florida.

Advanced Dryer Vent Cleaning

Positive Air Machine / Clean Vent from the Roof

Who needs this package?

This is our most common package.  This is the most non-invasive way to clean dryer vents.  We do not need to disconnect the dryer and we clean the entire system from the roof.  Because of liability, to preform this service, a dryer must have a Transistion dryer vent that is installed correctly, meets the UL 2158A certified, and it cannot be an accordion vent.  If you do not have a safe vent, we will advise that you upgrade to the “Expedited Dryer Vent Cleaning, Plus” package and we will change it out with a DryerFlex.

What we do…

  • From the roof, measure air flow with an Anemometer and take a photo of the top of the vent interior.
  • Use our Commercial Positive Air Machine to evacuate the lint from your dryer and into a lint collection bag for disposal.
  • From the roof, measure air flow with an Anemometer and take a photo of the top of the vent interior so we can verify that your dryer is effectivly exhausting the warm humid air.
  • Inspect your Transition Dryer Vent (the vent that connects your dryer to the wall) to ensure that it:
    – is a UL 2158A certified dryer vent (meets fire safety standards as established by building code)
    – is correctly installed
    – is NOT an accordion vent
  • Go over our photos and findings with you, collect payment, and then send you a paid invoice (receipt) with all the photos attached.

Disclaimer:
Roofs with a pitch of 7/12 or greater have a $50 surcharge. Only select premier homes have 7/12 or greater pitch roofs, and they usually have a window in the attic facing out.

If we add surcharges to a job, we will produce an estimate for homeowner approval as soon as we are aware they will apply. To confirm roof pitch, we rely on a pitch level before we step onto the roof.

Returned Checks will have a service fee of $30 and will have payment due within 30 days pursuant to Fla. Stat. § 68.065

Invoiced services due at time of receipt with a $50 late payment per 30 days of receipt.

Comprehensive Dryer Vent Cleaning

Positive Air Machine / Clean from the Roof
This includes the replacement of your Transition Dryer Vent to a DryerFlex.

Who needs this package?

This is our second most common package.  This is for customers who do not have a vent that meets the UL 2158A saftey standards or have an accordian transistion vent installed.  We replace the old transistion dryer vent and replace it with a DryerFlex transistion vent.

    1. From the roof to measure air flow with an Anemometer and take a photo of the top of the vent interior.
    2. Pull your dryer away from the wall and replace the existing Transistion duct with a DryerFlex, which is a Commercial Grade Transition Dryer Duct that meets the UL 2518 building code fire standards and is crush resistant. We mechanically connect the Dryer Flex with Stainless Steel 4 1/2 inch DryerClamps and seal the vent to the home with 181-P HVAC tape.
    3. From the roof to measure air flow with an Anemometer to document the increased air velocity from the upgraded transition vent.
    4. Use our Commercial Positive Air Machine to evacuate the lint from your dryer and into a lint collection bag for disposal.
    5. From the roof to measure air flow with an Anemometer and take a photo of the top of the vent interior so we can verify that your dryer is effectivly exhausting the warm humid air.
    6. Go over our photos and findings with you, collect payment, and then send you a paid invoice (receipt) with all the photos attached.

Roofs with a pitch of 7/12 or greater have a $50 surcharge. Only select premier homes have 7/12 or greater pitch roofs, and they usually have a window in the attic facing out.

Dryers that are not placed in front of the Dryer Wall Vent, and instead are placed in front of the plumbing for the washer will have a surcharge of $30. Often these are placed this way because of the ways the doors open and close. Unfortunately, this complicates the cleaning process and requires more labor and custom materials.

Washers and Dryers on pedestals or under fixed shelves require us to access the dryer vent from behind the washer and work in tighter conditions which requires use of additional tools and takes more time. We therefore add a $20 surcharge to these jobs.

If we add surcharges to a job, we will produce an estimate for homeowner approval as soon as we are aware they will apply. To confirm roof pitch, we rely on a pitch level before we step onto the roof.

Side Dryer Vent Upgrade

This includes the replacement of your Transition Dryer Vent to a DryerFlex.

Who needs this package?

This is the package we recommend for homes that have vents coming out of the side of their home.  This provides the best ventilation for your dryer by eliminating the back pressure created with the vents commonly used in The Villages.  Further, it provides easy access for non-commercial vent cleaning brushes for an annual cleaning, and we provide you with a brush.  Once complete, you shouldn’t need to hire a professional to clean your dryer vents again.

  1. We replace your plastic vent cover with the DryerWallVent by InOvate. Tough-as-nails deep-draw construction ensures a long duty life. The body is made of heavy-gauge Galvalume® steel. Combined with dense powder coating, DryerWallVents are corrosion resistant and impervious to sun and heat effects (unlike plastic vents).
  2. We then attach the DryerFlex Transition Vent, by InOvate, to your dryer and the to the Dryer Vent Intake on your wall
  3. We fasten both sides with the DryerClamp, a Stainless Steel 4.5 inch ring clamp by InOvate, and seal both sides with HVAC 181-AP fire rated foil tape.
  4. We provide you with a short dryer vent brush that you can use annually to clean out your vent.
  5. When completed, you will be able to easily access and clean your dryer vent without the help of a professional. Unlike the plastic covers, this will last for many years.
